Davidson County Master Gardener 8th Annual Garden Tour. All Around the Town is the theme this year with five private gardens available to tour within the Lexington city limits. Gardens represent full sun to full shade, small spaces and vintage locations. Tickets are $10 each and cover both tour dates plus an educational tour of the MG Demonstration Gardens. Garden descriptions and a map also included with each ticket. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Agricultural Center beginning in May, with other locations to be announced. Tickets will also be available on tour dates at the Agriculture Center, 301 E. Center Street.

Balloting is currently closed for your 2011 Focus Favorite Places to dine and shop in and around Davidson County.

Focus Favorites Results and individual winner will be published in the Spring edition of Focus Magazine in March 2012.

2011 Davidson County Focus Photography Contest Winner

The first annual Focus Magazine Photo Contest winner is Matti House of Lexington. Walmart of Lexington provided the prize pack for Matti with valued at over $200. Matti submitted three photos and the winning photo will be the cover of the Special Summer Edition of Focus. Congratulations Matti!
