Annual Memorial Day Parade & Celebration. Main Street, Thomasville. In 2012, we once again honor the families of North Carolina military personnel who have fallen in battle in the previous year. One of the largest Memorial Day celebrations in the whole southeastern United States. Davidson County Master Gardener 8th Annual Garden Tour. All Around the Town is the theme this year with five private gardens available to tour within the Lexington city limits. Gardens represent full sun to full shade, small spaces and vintage locations. Tickets are $10 each and cover both tour dates plus an educational tour of the MG Demonstration Gardens. Garden descriptions and a map also included with each ticket. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Agricultural Center beginning in May, with other locations to be announced. Tickets will also be available on tour dates at the Agriculture Center, 301 E. Center Street.


Balloting is currently closed for your 2011 Focus Favorite Places to dine and shop in and around Davidson County.

Focus Favorites Results and individual winner will be published in the Spring edition of Focus Magazine in March 2012.

CONTEST RULES
Deadline for entries is January 31, 2012. Only one ballot entry per person, submitting additional ballots per person will result in removal from contest and ineligibility. Only one winner per household. All prizes must be claimed at 200 Radio Dr. Lexington, NC 27292 unless told otherwise. All prizes must be picked up within 30 working days from date of winning.. Employees of Davidson County Broadcasting, INC. and participating sponsors, including their immediate families, members of any North Carolina Radio, Newspaper, Magazine or TV Station are ineligible to win.
